Agreement
By creating an account or publishing a pledge you agree to these terms. If you accept them on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. Each individual may hold one personal pledge. Organisation accounts may publish on behalf of the organisation they have verified.
Pledge content
You retain ownership of the content you publish and grant us a licence to host, display and distribute it as part of the public directory, including in search results and social previews. Content must be truthful, must not overstate progress, and must not misrepresent third parties. We may unpublish content that appears misleading, unlawful or abusive.
Verification and impact figures
Verification confirms the existence and identity of an organisation against public registers. It is not an audit of emissions data. All impact figures shown on the platform are pledged or estimated amounts derived from the information you supply — they are not independently measured reductions, and must not be presented as assured or certified data.
Carbon Reduction Plans
The Carbon Reduction Plan tools help you structure a plan in line with UK public procurement expectations. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any plan you publish or submit, and for obtaining any assurance a buyer requires.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or use it to publish unlawful, defamatory or deliberately deceptive claims.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken in reliance on figures you or another user have published.
Termination and governing law
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions can be raised through the support centre.
